Born and raised in the heartland, Vickie brings southern flair to cuisine while utilizing Southern California's rich supply of fresh ingredients. From concept to completion, each menu and recipe is personalized to delight all 5 of your senses. Every morsel of food from the kitchen will please sight, smell, taste and feel, and you will hear yourself asking for seconds and thirds! Challenge Vickie with an old favorite or let her tempt you with one of her creations.
In 1988, Vickie began her career as a full-time licensed caterer working on a variety of projects from small intimate dinner parties to large elaborate themed events and weddings. She built a name for herself and her company, Oral Fixations, around Southern California and in 1999 was the first catering company invited to participate in the Huntington Memorial Food & Wine Festival where they showcased three of Vickie's unique creations: Krazy Krootz (sourdough, rosemary & garlic croutons), Pots de Poulette (gourmet puff pastry chicken pot pie), and Eggplant Tapanade with Cheese (a sweet, yet savory, hot appetizer spread served on crostini). |
